This Privacy Policy outlines the practices of Salvador de la Barrera von Schmeling (“we”, “the app”) regarding the collection, usage, storage, and protection of information for users of Mandarin Arcade (“the App”). The App is exclusively for individuals aged 13 and older. We do not intentionally gather any personal data from children under the age of 13.
1.1 Account Details: If the version of the app has leaderboard, when registering an account for features like the global leaderboard, we collect a unique user ID via Firebase Authentication, selected username or display name, email address provided through direct registration or Google Sign-In, and an optional profile picture shared by your authentication provider. If the version does not have an app this does not apply. At present day, none of the versions of the app have leaderboard installed yet.
1.2 Usage and Progress Data: If opt in, we record game mode level completion for statistical purposes user can optt-in and out on the profile settings.
1.3 Analytics and Technical Data (Firebase Analytics): We utilize Firebase Analytics to evaluate App performance and enhance user experience. Automated data collection may include Firebase installation identifiers, in-app activity logs, device model, OS version, App build, internal crash reports, and system logs. This information is processed on Google/Firebase servers.
1.4 Notification Services: Current alerts are local notifications handled entirely by your device and are not transmitted to external servers or Firebase. We may implement remote push notifications through Firebase Cloud Messaging in the future and will update this policy accordingly. You can manage or disable all notification preferences within the App or your device settings.
We leverage collected data to maintain App functionality including leaderboards, progress tracking, and reviews; deliver authorized reminders and system alerts; communicate regarding in-app competitions and community events; send promotional emails only when you have explicitly opted in; develop anonymized, aggregated insights into general learning trends; and diagnose technical bugs and optimize the interface.
We do not sell personal data to third parties. Data is shared exclusively with Google Firebase, our service provider for database management, authentication, and analytics. Firebase processes data on our instruction and is prohibited from using it for independent commercial gain. We never share your details with external advertisers or for third-party marketing purposes.
Personal and progress data is kept while your account is active. To delete your account and all linked data, use the in-app tool (if available) or email mandarinarcade@gmail.com. Upon deletion, your profile, statistics, and progress are permanently removed. Anonymous, aggregated data may be kept for high-level statistical research.
This service is designed for users 13 and above. Users under 13 are prohibited from creating accounts. If we become aware of data collected from a minor under 13 without verification, we will act immediately to delete it.
We employ standard industry safeguards via Firebase, including transit encryption, to secure your information. Please note that no digital transmission is entirely immune to risk, and absolute security cannot be promised.
You may toggle off push notifications whenever you choose and decline marketing materials without losing access to App features. You have the right to access, modify, or erase your data by contacting mandarinarcade@gmail.com. Depending on your region, including the EU/GDPR or California/CCPA, you may hold specific legal rights. Contact us to exercise these protections.
We may revise this Privacy Policy periodically. We will signal major changes via in-app notices or by revising the effective date at the top of this page.
