1. About Mandarin Arcade. Mandarin Arcade is an educational application designed to help users practice Mandarin Chinese listening, tones, pronunciation recognition, vocabulary, Hanzi recognition, and related language skills. The app is a learning and practice tool; we do not guarantee any specific language-learning result, proficiency level, examination score, or educational outcome.
2. Free and Pro Access. Mandarin Arcade may offer both free features and features available through a paid Pro subscription. Included features may change as the app evolves, and material subscription terms will be displayed before purchase. 3. Subscriptions. Mandarin Arcade Pro may be offered as an auto-renewable subscription. The price and billing period shown at purchase apply to that transaction. Unless cancelled, subscriptions renew automatically. Payment is processed by Apple App Store, Google Play, or the platform through which you purchased.
4. Managing and Cancelling Your Subscription. Apple App Store subscriptions must be managed through your Apple account; Google Play subscriptions through your Google Play account. Deleting Mandarin Arcade does not automatically cancel an active subscription. After cancellation, you generally retain Pro access until the end of the current paid billing period, subject to applicable store policies and law. 5. Refunds. Payments, cancellations, refunds, and billing disputes are generally handled by Apple or Google when purchased through their stores. Refund eligibility is subject to store policies and applicable law.
6. Account and Access. You are responsible for maintaining control over the device and account used to access Mandarin Arcade. You may not bypass subscription restrictions, interfere with the app, gain unauthorized access to its systems, or use it fraudulently or unlawfully. 7. Intellectual Property. Mandarin Arcade’s design, artwork, educational content, audio recordings, software, branding, graphics, game mechanics, and original materials are owned by or licensed to Mandarin Arcade. You receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license for personal educational use only; you may not reproduce, distribute, sell, sublicense, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit our content or software except where permitted by law.
8. Third-Party Services. Mandarin Arcade may use payment processors, analytics providers, authentication services, hosting providers, and subscription-management platforms. Your use may also be subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. 9. Availability and Changes. We may update, modify, add, or remove features to improve Mandarin Arcade, and do not guarantee that every feature will always be available or operate without interruption. 10. Limitation of Liability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mandarin Arcade is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from use or inability to use the app. Nothing limits rights that cannot legally be excluded under consumer protection laws.
11. Privacy. Your use of Mandarin Arcade is also subject to our Privacy Policy. 12. Changes to These Terms. We may update these Terms from time to time; material changes will be made available through the app or our website.
